Plug Power Unveils Five-Year Plan Targeting $1 Billion of Revenue by 2024

LATHAM, N.Y., Sept. 18, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- [u]Plug Power Inc.[/u] (PLUG), a leading provider of hydrogen engines and fueling solutions enabling e-mobility, has rolled out a new five-year plan that will position the company to deliver on an annual basis by 2024 $1 billion of revenue, $170 million of operating income, and $200 million of adjusted EBITDA. The plan is being presented today during the 2019 Plug Power Symposium in Latham, NY. The majority of the revenue growth is expected to come from material handling industry, the Company’s core market, with increasing contribution from on-road and stationary markets. Operating margin and adjusted EBITDA margin expansion reflects underlying operating leverage in the business model with potential for upside from the multiple potential strategic moves in the hydrogen generation business.

Grund: Fetter Auftrag Furtune 100 Unternehmen + Kapitalerehöhung hinter siich + boomende Branche (BLWP). 1 Mrd. Umsatz ist das Ziel.

Habe mir in meinem spekulativem Depot auch ein paar Anteile eingesammelt. Mir wäre ein guter Wasserstoff ETF zwar lieber auch nun gut.

In more than 20 years of operation, the hydrogen fuel cell company has sold a lot of fuel cell systems, but never earned a profit, and never generated positive free cash flow. Instead, Plug funds its operations mainly by issuing and selling new shares -- over and over again. In fact, from 2000 to 2020, Plug's share count has grown from 4.4 million to 399.7 million -- i.e. grown 90x in size.

But what a difference a pandemic makes, and what a difference (the hope for) a Green New Deal! .............

Ja danke, da habe ich auch mal Glück gehabt. Habe sogar vor paar Wochen Nel rausgehauen und Plug ausgebaut aber da hatte ich mal Glück. Werde die Position einfach laufen lassen und mal gucken was in ein paar Jahren passiert.
